Although the tournament was on the South's Red River in Shreveport-Bossier City, La., a cold front swept through the area, producing below freezing temperatures on Day One of the three day event. Despite this, some savvy anglers were able to find hotbeds of action and managed to catch their limit as the frosty weather continued.
As always, this year's Classic featured some of the biggest names in professional angling including past winners such as Alton Jones, Boyd Duckett and Kevin Van Dam.
