February 25th 2013 02:24
With only four fish instead of the allotted five, Cliff Pace managed to edge out all other anglers to be crowned champion of the 2013 Bassmaster Classic.
Needing over 8 pounds of fish, Pace finished with 11 pounds, 8 ounces to better second place Brandon Palaniuk who finished with 15 pounds, four ounces on five fish. Three day totals are what matter in fishing tournaments and Pace ended his weekend with 54-12 on fourteen total fish while Palaniuk had only 51-8 with fifteen fish.
When it comes to familiar names, Mikel Iaconelli finished fourth and Kevin VanDam came in at No. 8.
