A fishing log for you
March 16th 2008 00:34
In order to achieve success when fishing, it takes a lot of practice and more trial and error than I care to admit. One way to eliminate some of the time wasted with trial and error is to record your attempts and then repeat what worked for you and see where you're doing right or wrong
The log I've included can help you a great deal. This is fairly basic. There are logs for your computer but I like an old-fashioned paper log because, if you're like me, too many details are forgotten by the time you get around to putting info into the computer.
A couple of these fit on a sheet of printer paper. My suggestion is to print off a few, staple them together to make a small book and stick them, along with a pencil, into your tackle box. After a few excursions, look at what you've written and see if any patterns emerge. The findings may be surprising!
