A great reel at a great price

Although fishing is a relatively cheap hobby, you can spend quite a sum of money if you're not careful. You go into a tackle shop, start picking up five or ten dollar items and, before you know it, you've spent as much money as the budget allows for the whole month!
If you're in need of a reel, it would behoove any angler to consider the Daiwa Magaforce baitcaster.
Retailing for around $60 USD, Daiwa has packed plenty of quality into one of the greatest bargains you'll find and created a reel that delivers top notch performance at a price that will leave you with enough money for a Coke at McDonald's when it's all over.

system.
The coolest thing about this reel is that it features what Daiwa calls a Twitchin' Bar. At the push of a button, the Twitchin' Bar zips up 6-7 inches of slack line without turning the crank handle! (Figure around 16 centimeters.) When it comes time to really pick it up, the Megaforce sucks up the line with a blistering 7:1 gear ratio. If this isn't enough, you can get a Megaforce in either right or left handed models.
The only complaint I have with the reel is purely cosmetic. I'm not crazy about the red and gray finish. I wish it was all gray like the Daiwa reel I have now but, for the price and features, I think I could make a sacrifice.
Until next time--watch yourself and watch your line!
