A little surf fishing

September 24th 2010 15:08
It's been a little over two years since I last surf fished so, it was no wonder this video stirred a restless feeling in my heart.

Anglers are going to notice this fisherman is using a "regular" rod and line. While this is true, one must realize he has targeted specific fish and has adjusted his equipment accordingly. The same can be said for his lure since he is using a White Bucktail often associated with freshwater fishing.

Targeting specific fish tells me this guy knows what he's doing. None-the-less,
he's refraining from one thing I do when I surf fish. I like to bury the butt of my rod in the sand and jump in the water!

Remember to take the hooks outta yer pocket before ya sit down!
