An early weekend tip for trout anglers

Since this weekend kicks off the local trout season, I though I'd post this a day early so someone can use it.


If you get a "Hen" trout and plan on keeping the fish to eat, go ahead and cut her open to see if she is full of eggs (roe). Roe makes an excellent bait and you may be lucky and catch more fat trout!
