My Arkie jig

A while back I posted a piece about noise producing lures and wanted to expand on the topic.
It seems like Wal-Mart almost always has some fishing gear on sale this time of year so I checked out one of the local stores the other day and came away with an
Arkie jig.

I haven't been able to do much research on the company itself so I'm not going to say they're a great company or a bad company. What has impressed me is the price points on their lures and hooks. Someone is probably going to leave me a comment or send a private message that they make a crappy product but, so be it. If you're trying to build up your fishing arsenal, this is a good place to start.
As you can see, I've already slipped a tube in the holder on the left to let you know how to use the collar.
To get to the point, I like this jig for two reasons. 1--It's predominantly black and blue which are perfect colors for night. 2--If I'm not getting bit, I can try adding rattle tubes to the collar that's part of the jig. I want to point out that I can do this AT MY DISCRETION and the jig is perfectly usable without rattle tubes.
Like I said, I don't know a lot about the company or their product yet but, I've seen enough lures to know you can do a lot worse! If you get a chance to pick up any Arkie products, it will be money well spent.
Until next time--watch your line and watch yourself!
