If you're trying craw-crabs but not having much luck, try this--

Try reversing your bullet weight. Doing so will create more of a stir as you drag it along the bottom!

It's so stupid, I don't know why I never tried it because goodness knows I've thought of some goofy things! I gave it a shot a coupe of times late last summer after the spawn and it seems to stir up their interest. I think it preys on the fish's curiosity!

I believe that is correct James, the movement and mud stir would alert a big fish to food possibilities almost instantly.
