Tips for long distance casting
November 23rd 2008 01:15
You don't hear a lot about long distance casting competitions here in the States. That may change as gas prices rise and boats become more of a luxury! I know fuel prices are coming down right now but, we're still paying more than we were last year at this time.
I'll be working on my casting in the upcoming weeks, providing it's not too cold, as I do some bank fishing and try to cast out for some musky.
There are some good tips in this video. I guess you can sum it up by remembering to keep your hands apart and rear back! The nice thing about practicing new techniques during the late fall and winter is that there probably won't be a lot of people around to see you goof!

Until next time--watch yourself and watch your line!
