You know how it is. I like to keep everyone off balance so they never know what I'm going to do.

I am a really struggling as a fisherman. I have moved to a country town and can't catch a thing - just snags! Every cast I have to snap the line and it sux. How can I improve my river fishing?

I fish the river most of the time myself so I know what you mean. I think ALL rivers can be a pain depending on where you are in the river. The river I fish on changes if just a couple of miles! (probably less but some of it is too weedy to walk!) I'm going to send you some links to some old post but the first thing I would do is try and slow it down and go slow if you use lures or maybe adding a bobber stay off the bottom if you use live bait. Sometimes, I think it's just the area. One area I fish a lot is fine but 50 feet down the way, like 15 meters, it's snag city! Let me know how goes!
