Weekend tip--Dough ball recipe

November 10th 2007 03:18
If you ever want to use dough balls for bait, here's a recipe that works for me!

1 cup water
2 teaspoons of sugar
1 1/4 cups of ground cornmeal
3/4 cups of flour

Bring the water and sugar to a boil at then lower heat
Add the cornmeal and flour.
Stir the mix over a low heat for five minutes.
Then, cover and put in a double boiler for 1/2 hour on "low." To Thicken--add flour. To thin--add a little water.

When the dough is cool enough to handle, knead the mix and divide the dough into 5 parts.

Wrap each part tightly and put it in the freezer until needed.

Sorry I don't have metric equivalents on here. I haven't tried them yet and I'd rather not fake my way through it.

Until next time--watch yourself and watch your line!
