An emergency line guide
September 5th 2008 00:46
Some of the handiest items an angler can have are a roll of tape and a paperclip.

Here's why—if you lose a line guide, you can easily bend the paperclip into a makeshift guide and tape it onto your rod.
"Not gonna happen," you say.

Maybe—maybe not. Those single foot guides have been known to fall out now and then!
