I thought life was sweet this week because I got a copy of Norman Maclean's A RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT. Then, I found this inspiring story.

Thanks for stopping by Raven. Things like this matter a lot more than they used to. Maybe I finally grew up or maybe it's just that I've gotten old. Maybe it's the fact that this year I found out that one of my work buddies was in Nam and I didn't even know it for four years! Maybe it's the fact that one guy I used to work with was in the Engineers in Nam and cleared mines or booby traps until one exploded--made one Helluva mess outtta my friend but, he lived through it with only a bad limp! He suffered from PTSD in a bad way and they finally had to let him go because he freaked out one too many times. I wonder why??????
