There must be a million tricks to lure catfish! Here's another...
A couple of hours before you try landing some catfish, fill a can with some cheap cat or dog food. Drill small holes in the can for smell to escape and throw it into the area where you are going to fish.
Fish should gather in the area to "savor the aroma."
