More fishing books

I usually don't buy fishing books because people often give them to me as gifts. Here are a few I've received lately.
The first book I want to highlight is the FIELD & STREAM TACKLE CARE and REPAIR HANDBOOK. This book is pretty handy and can be a real life saver! Rather than reading from cover to cover, you may want to look upon this book as a reference guide. The care of rods, reels, AND accessories such as waders and nets is covered.
Next up is a delightful little read called FISH TAILS by Paul Seaburn,Emily Thornton Calvo, David Schecter, and Lynda Twardowski. You won't learn anything about fishing from this book but you will get a good chuckle! The authors have taken existing pictures and then added their own captions to achieve the humor. Fat guys, skinny guys, men, women, and children are all fair game!
ANTIQUE & COLLECTIBLE FISHING RODS with the subtitle Identification and Value Guide, compiled by D.B. Homel, gives it away in the title. This book has proven I'm not a rich man while affirming people at garage sales don't always know what they have.

Until next time--watch yourself and watch your line!
