Rust protection from Flambeau
March 3rd 2010 05:04
The cyber world has been a little up and down for Orble so, it's been a a battle to get on here and talk about something I saw while shopping this past weekend.
I wonder how many guys are going to stick their tackle box on a shelf this winter and not open it again until the spring. When they finally open it again, too often a mass of rusted metal greets them.
Flambeau makes some great products for the angler and they hit the nail right on the head when they came out with their Zerust corrosion protection and then went a step further and incorporated it into their tackle boxes.
Rather than try and write a lot of technical mumbo jumbo let's just go with the the premise that a polymer is released around the metals in your tackle box and keeps out rust. Zerust first appeared as rust inhibiting chips or capsules that would last two years in the chip form or three years as a capsule. Now, Flambeau has molded that technology into many of its plastics but goes even further by making the protection last FIVE years.
Whether you use utility boxes in soft cases or full-blown hard shell tackle boxes, Flambeau is going to have a product to help you.

Remember to take the hooks outta yer pocket before ya sit down!
