Food Source Lures-the natural bait

February 24th 2008 20:02
Today is one of those lazy Sundays when you wake up and say "I'm not gonna do a lot today." After walking down the street to get the paper and then reading the funnies, I figured, "What the heck?" and tuned in some of those fishing guys on TV. I'm glad I did!

One of the shows grabbed my attention. I thought they were going to be talking about kids and fishing but it turned out that they were talking about a product I've seen on the shelf but looked over because it got lost in the multitude of lures and baits on the market.

They were talking about a product called Food Source Lures which I now have to try!

I'm not one to jump on the bandwagon when a new lure hits the market but try to stick with the tried an true stuff.

The thing that impressed me the most is that they claim the bait is 100% natural. That means that if you have a break off, providing the fish stay away from the hook, the fish can still dine on your bait. Also, if you have bait left over, you can bring it home and store it in the refrigerator--something that's MORE than a little gross if you're using worms or night crawlers!

Some say fishermen are cheap. I prefer the term frugal. WHATEVER! Another thing I liked was the fact that the guys on TV caught THREE fish on one worm! It may be worth looking into in order to save a buck or two!

Speaking of the refrigerator--this is a product you MUST store in a cool place because it is all natural!

Food Source Lures are made for bass and are also produced for saltwater applications or panfish.

I could go on and on but I'll let you check them out.

Until next time--watch yourself and watch your line!

Cibbuano,

I'm not sure, YET. When I tried to get on their site to check out that sort of thing, I couldn't get on. I remember that it said that Wal Mart carries the bait, so I can check it out when I go up there tomorrow.
