I must be going through Matt Wilson overload this week!

This video shows more about his demeanor than I could ever tell! In this clip he jumps from a helicopter into the ocean and wrestles a marlin! Either one would probably be an accomplishment for the average person!

The return of Diver Dan and sawfish

I looked up something in Wikipedia the other day and ran across an entry for Diver Dan. Does anyone remember this program but me???? Let me put this another way, is anyone else willing to date themselves?

I only remembered one episode and wouldn't you know??? It's the one on YouTube!!!! Indulge me on this obsession so I can write something else.

Dogfish are for real!

Last year I got transferred into another department at work and ended up really hating my job. Still, in today's economy, I'm smart enough to realize that any job is better than no job and it would be suicidal to quit.

In order to cope, I put on my headphones and go to my "happy place."

Vanilla Ice Fishing

I was never a Vanilla Ice fan and I'm not too big on ice fishing so this vid puts it all together for me.

I must admit though, there is some good underwater video in this clip. It won an award with Aqua-View, a company specializing in affordable underwater cameras for the angler.

Here's a combination of a couple favorites of mine--the 3 Stooges and fishing.

After watching this, I decided that one of the ultimate fishing trips would be to sit on the bank all day, catch a few fish and tell someone about the hours I spent as a lad in the coal fields of West Virginia watching the Stooges.

Watch this guy!

Back in the 80's I watched a movie called Valley Girl and was blown away by Nicholas Cage. I watched that movie a couple of times and knew, right then and there, that he was headed for great things. (I'd say he's made a name for himself in the past 25 years!)

I predict it again for the guy wearing sunglasses in this commercial. I don't know WHO he is or anything about him! At any rate his reaction to the flying arm and his ensuing line plus the gesture and expression puts him above most commercial actors.
