Great product for the deep ones

Since I regularly get emails from Recycled Fish, I found out about this great product just in time for the Holidays...
When it's frosty like it is right now in my neck of the woods or if you do much salt water fishing, you know what a hassle it can be when you hook something deep and pull it up only to see the fish's insides hanging out of its mouth because the pressure of its swim bladder is not equal to surface pressures. In effect, the fish has the "bends" much like a diver ascending too quickly!
The first thing many people do when the see a fish's stomach sticking out of it's mouth, is try to put it back in. Semi-savvy anglers know what the problem is but use something like an ice pick, knitting needle, or similar device to "vent" the fish. This is ALL wrong and, too often, leads to the animal's death.
These problems are all gone thanks to a product called Ventafish.
Here's a video from YouTube showing how simple it is to use the wonderful tool.
As I alluded to earlier, too many people try to perform some sort of half-baked surgery that usually guarantees a fish's death. With Ventafish, it's almost impossible to do things wrong.

The other thing I like about this is that we don't have to have hypodermic needles rolling around, this thing is safe for fish and fishermen.

Good to hear. I have to get one too. In reality, they've been on the market a while but I just heard about it. I can do a lot of things when it comes to fishing but, venting is always a problem for me. This may be just the savior I need!
