Here's an ad that popped up in my in-box the other day.
New fishing equipment comes out every other day so I'm not real crazy about promoting items unless I use them or it's one of those "Why didn't they think of this sooner?"

If you read this blog very often, you'll know I'm not a deep sea angler. None the less, big cat fish and muskies have shown me the need for a descent reel and, sometimes, it's only the cranking handle that makes the difference between something you feel good about using and a reel that sets in the garage.
You can check out the website yourself but, I'd like to point out Real Power Handles are made from aluminum to maintain strength while not adding weight to your rig. In fact, the new handle may be just a bit lighter that the old handle!
The only down side is that Real Power Handles start at 30 bucks USD a pop. Some people may be put off by this and I have to admit you can get a reel for less than that. However, if you've already spent hundreds on an "almost" reel, thirty bucks isn't a lot to pay to make it perfect.
Remember to take the hooks outta yer pocket before ya sit down!
