The other day someone asked me, "What do you think about Hillbilly Handfishin'?"
Well, the thing is--I don't.

Hillbilly Handfishin' is a program on America's Animal Planet. Like most programs on the network, I'm sure this is a decent program but handfishing, noodling as it's often called, is not my cup of tea.
Noodling is mostly found in southern states. This is a past time where you actually take your bare hands and stick them into crevices under water and try and grab onto a catfish.
When noodling, your head/eyes are usually above water. That disadvantage is just as well because the bottom is so stirred up the water gets muddy to the point of zero visibility.
"They must be crazy," you say???? Okay, we're in the same boat! Snapping turtles hang out in rocks and crevices the last time I checked. I don't know about you but, I value my fingers!

Perhaps I should watch, at least, one episode before passing judgement. On the other hand, I have a hard time watching people doing something I refuse to do!
