Spend some time with Hook n' Look

Although I'm not too crazy about watching fishing programs on TV there's one that has caught my attention and that is Hook n' Look on Versus.
Hosted by professional angler Kim Strickler, the program uses footage filmed beneath the water's surface to demonstrate the action and effectiveness of lures in addition to showing how fish react to various stimuli.
If you've watched fishing shows, you've probably seen two second clips of someone's arm beneath the water and a fish swimming out of their hand. Happily, this is not the case with Nook n' Look. In this program you're going to see guys wth wetsuits, air tanks, masks--the whole nine yards. Further, the divers use an underwater communication system which enables them to narrate their activities as they are happening.
Granted there's a lot of difference between the bottom of a man-made lake and a reef off the coast of Australia or the Florida Keys. However, if you want to learn about fish and their environment, this is a program to check out!
Until next time--watch your line and watch yourself!
