Ice fishing joke

The other day a guy at work said, "It's just about time for ice fishing."
I didn't feel like telling him about my aversion to freezing my butt off so I just replied, "I guess so."
Although it was a noncommittal answer, it was enough to get this joke out of him.

Frank and Bob decide they’re going to do some ice fishing. After they get on the water, they cut holes in the lake and drop their lines. A few hours pass and Frank has caught dozens of fish while Bob hasn't had a bite. So, Bob asks, "What’s your secret?"

Frank answers, "Ooo otta eep da morms orm."
What????
Ooo otta eep da morms orm
What are you saying?
Frank spits into his hand and says, "You gotta keep the worms warm!"

This is probably one of those urban legends but here goes:

There's supposed to be a percentage of Earthworms in hot dog wieners. Unfortunately, right now mine are those chicken franks and I can't check what it is. It's that one ingredient that starts with an "E".

So I was told!
