A few words from the local guys

Not being sponsored by a big name fishing equipment manufacturer has its advantages. If you read this blog and I say something works, you can pretty well take it to the bank because I'm not getting paid to say I like or use something.
That being said, I'd like for you to give a look at this video for Joe's Flies. It's sort of a local product around here since they were first produced by a guy less than 30 miles from where I currently live.
Often times, when people hear the term "flies," they think of fly fishing and images of anglers waving rods in the air come to mind. However, Joe's Flies are mounted on a spinner and are great for trout and larger versions are good for bass sized fish and you can even find something for salt water!
It was no big deal for me to see Joe's Flies when I lived in Pittsburgh but, looking at their website, you can see they have quite a few outlets in the U.S. so, it's not just a local thing.
The big question anglers always ask is, "Do these things work?" I would say the do! In fact, although I'm certainly not bad-mouthing any companies, I've had more luck with Joe's Flies than I have with either Mepps or Panther Martin spinners. Maybe I'm just lucky--maybe I made a good choice at the lure counter. It's had to beat the other makers though. So, rest assured, I have a few of their products too.

Remember to take the hooks outta yer pocket before ya sit down!
