Yesterday I was part of one of those "get acquainted" gimmicks where you tell a group two things about yourself that are true and one that is a falsehood. I used flat feet as my lie and mentioned that I was born in West Virginia and have a Kevlar fishing rod. Nobody believed the Kevlar fish rod scenario!
Lest there are any more non-believers out there, here is photographic proof of my Kevlar rod AND the metric rod I haven't mentioned.

I got this when a local department store was going out of business. Not bad for 20 bucks!
The shot on the right shows you can get almost anything on eBay. No wonder the description was "...around six feet."
If I could combine the two rods into one I'd have something unique!
