Killer fish! (Not sharks)

If you have some time to kill, this post is for you!
This is something I watched a while back on TV and the whole time I was watching I kept thinking, "I gotta get this on my blog!" Little did I figure it would show up so soon on YouTube.

Monster Quest, the originator of the program, is one of the programs on America's History Channel's. Like all programs, some episodes are better than others. And, like many such programs, there are not a lot of definitive answers and it feeds into the skeptic in all of us.
I like a comment from the History Channel's infancy. Since they always have their logo, an "H," at the lower right of the screen, critics called it the "Hitler Channel because they had so much programming about Hitler and the Nazis.
This first clip gives "teasers" for the rest of the show and centers into a report on giant catfish in South America.
The second clip is still talking about catfish but features something I can never figure out--"noodling." Watch and learn and you'll see why I'm not crazy about this practice.
This clip continues a report on pike. In my opinion, this part is MIGHTY plausible! And, this is followed by something that should be of interest to all of you trout anglers.
Here they talk about the efforts to study some of the alleged killer fish and feature information on the alligator gar.
The final clip takes us back to South America and and gives a summary of the entire program.
Until next time--watch yourself and watch your line!
