A little more about Marcia Rubin

Marcia Rubin is definitely building a name for herself as both a female angler and also for her deeds off the water. I wrote about her a while back and found this video since then.

She's such a unique and inspiring individual that I thought she deserves a second look. This is a segment that appeared on Wild Ohio and ended up on YouTube.

Well James, I just had to caste my votes ( not my line) for a female angler, she seems a bit better at fishing than me, but I'll not let jealousy stand in my way.

Check this out...
I think there is gender bias nf professional fishing. If the powers that be would smarten up they could play her up and really increase their PR but before they do that they have to increase payout to women. Men get $500,000 and women well under $100,00 in cash AND prizes!

Maybe I'm too Northen--maybe there's more to the story but, it seems like they made their move and now they're sitting back waiting on rewards instead of trying to build on the momentum they had going about two years ago.
