Blame it on the weather

I knew it was hot and sticky around here and some serious rain would be a welcome relief but I didn't know it was this bad.
It seems that a local lake marina is closing for the season despite plenty of summer on tap for all of us. Since this article is dated from a few days ago, part of the excitement is already over but at least, they got the 4th of July in.
Being from the general area, I should point out this is a LAKE marina so, you can rest assured the seas aren't drying up! It's been a LONG time since I've been to the marina but they do a whopping business and the entire lake area is a tourist spot for this area.
From the article, I'd say they are definitely throwing in the towel for the season since owners are even removing the gasoline docks! One would think there would be a possibility of salvaging the season but, what do I know? I'm one of those people who hang out over at Pleasant Creek.
