A Kiwi angler, Ross Jameson, managed to land a 483.4 kilogram blue marlin. That's well over 1,000 pounds!
I like his response to a question posed by the press--... asked how he would assess his fishing career now, he said: "Well, it certainly got a bit of a boost, didn't it?"
