Here ya go--the big 10/0,the 8/0 used to be my biggie, a 3/0 and a Size 4.
I recently came across a 10/0 hook.
Modesty would have me say, "I don't know why I bought it."
In reality, I DO know why I bought it. It only cost me a buck!

I'm not sure why I bought it other than being able to say, "I have a big hook."
I showed it to a guy at work and he came back with that classic line from JAWS, "You're gonna need a bigger boat."
Believe it or not, this is a little on the small side for sharks. The trouble is--it's a little on the large size for most fish around here. You could catch Musky with it but, I prefer to start out with a 3/0 or 5/0 hook and adjust my tackle if necessary.
I'm not sure what metal it's made from but, it's stronger than a sharpened coat hanger.
So, I guess I spent a dollar to brag a little!
