This is a really good video on how to tie the Palomar knot. It's super strong and easy--a combination that's hard to beat!
I use it about 90% of the time. In fact, the only time I don't use it is when I tie spinner baits, leaders, two lines, or tie my main line to a reel.
Trust me, this is one knot you MUST learn!
