How to use a popper

April 2nd 2010 00:24
popper lures

Here are some good instructions on using a popper to increase your fishing success.

Some people think a popper is only good early in the morning or around dusk. During Spring when fish are biting almost anything, just about any time is good for poppers. Topwater baits in general nearly always work when fish are active and the resulting bites are something to see.

Nothing beats the rush you get when a "big one" breaks the surface and takes a popper!!

Remember to take the hooks outta yer pocket before ya sit down!

Using a popper is almost like being in a war. Nothing, nothing, nothing and then everything hits the fan!
Providing you get a bite! *L*
