Here's a link to a sad, disgusting story I found on ABC.
Divers in Tasmania were cleaning a river bed and brought up car parts, bicycles, and bags of garbage.
I've snagged bikes and even saw a partially submerged shopping cart. Since I fish in semi-rural areas, how these items find their way into rivers is beyond me!
The story takes place in Australia. I live in the U.S. The story points out what a global problem pollution has become.
