Bull sharks in India

June 24th 2010 00:40
Here's a fairly cool video I got the other day from NatGeo.

The vid follows a study on shark attacks in Indian rivers which results in, (duh!) bull sharks.

I don't think bulls found in rivers will come as a surprise to anyone who knows much about sharks but, I thought it was pretty cool to see a broken hook and the question of "why" bulls go up river is explored near the end of the video. I've never really thought about that but, the reasoning makes sense.

A final note, notice the use of circle hooks despite the hook size.

Remember to take the hooks outta yer pocket before ya sit down!
