Kevin VanDam is demonstrating why he's America's No. 1 bass angler by once again leading the Angler of the Year race after seven tournaments with only four remaining. Further more, he's been leading the series since the end of April.
Alton Jones
However, lest anyone is thinking of handing the championship trophy to KVD, he's leading second place and 2007 AOY winner Skeet Reese by only 24 points and third place is occupied by the 2008 Bassmaster Champion Alton Jones who is trailing by 124 points.
