Here's a story that blew me away.
In California, a swimmer swam all of Monterey Bay in an effort to increase awareness about the local marine environment.

Monterey Bay is an area of Western California along the U.S. coast. The bay is south of San Francisco, between the cities of Santa Cruz and Monterey and offers vacationers some great eating along with boating and fishing.
The irony of the story is the swimmer, Bruckner Chase, was stung repeatedly by the very jelly fish he was trying to save! The story reports Bruckner was stung on the neck, hands, and even in the mouth.
Let's hope he had plenty of vinegar!
