How much do you text?

This isn't exactly a fishing story but, if you cut me some slack, you may enjoy is anyway.
Seeing people stumble down the street or along halls of shopping malls in a zombielike state as they text is one of my pet peeves.
However, this story takes it to new heights!
A lady in Michigan was so engrossed in her digital conversation that she walked off of a pier and into Lake Michigan.
I heard about this mishap this morning in the radio but, you hear a lot of things in the name of humor so, I had to check this out.
Being the intrepid journalist I am, (or maybe it's just closet nerd) I looked for another story to confirm the lunacy. Here ya go.
