Every now and then my mind wonders (or wanders) and I think of something besides fishing. This is one of those times...
I saw a commercial tonight for KFC's Chicken & Biscuit Bowl. I remember back in the days of my youth in West Virginia when we would scrape the chicken, corn, and mashed potatoes off our plate, throw a biscuit in there and feed it to the dog. What???? I forgot--it's the cheese that makes it different!
And what about iced coffee????? I saw a commercial saying that it's so good at Dunkin' Donuts! Maybe I'm wrong on this but, didn't restaurants used to throw out their cold coffee????
AND--who among us is old enough to have eaten Sugar Crisp for breakfast???? Now, we buy the same stuff for our kids except, it's called Honey Crisp. Instead of Sugar Bear it's Honey Bear.
Going back to what I was saying earlier--why is it suddenly KFC??????? Whatever happened to Kentucky FRIED Chicken?????
And WHY am I talking like Jerry Seinfeld?
