Angling Fish - by James Rickard

Parents beware--The U.S. is behind the environmental curve (again)

May 4th 2008 18:12
A while back I posted on a neat product called Food Source Lures. A couple of people contacted me and asked if I know exactly how they're made. I told them that I would get back to them. I'm still trying to get some information. It seems that even though I can find Food Source in stores, nobody is talking about the exact components. Maybe it's a trade secret!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I was surfing the web, trying to get some info this afternoon and stumbled upon this video I though I would share.

It probably comes as no surprise that the U.S falls behind MANY world countries when it comes to environmental issues. This report makes me wonder about swimbaits!

Until next time--watch yourself and watch your line!

It's been my experience that if there is a curve out there, somewhere, anywhere James, the US will be behind it: particularly when Bill is in the house.

Is this the site: LINK

Raven,

That's it.

I like what that guy in the video alluded to, too many times we in America expect someone to be looking out for us.

This video illustrates a point I like to bring up. Everything is so "to the letter" going by the letter of the law instead of the spirit of the law, you can hardly blame companies for doing what they do OR blame other countries for using the U.S. as a dumping ground for products outlawed in other countries.

katyzzz,

This isn't the first time I've heard something like that, but this is the first time I've had a forum to say anything and pass it on.

I rate this right up there with the" lead paint" problem. Why does crap like this always come down to the people least able to do anything about it?????
