Weekend tip--using live bait

Although the saying goes, "Big fish bite on big baits," bigger is not always better. If you're using live bait, a livelier minnow is almost always going to attract a strike sooner than a lethargic one. The best ones are usually the hardest to catch so, it may pay to put up with the aggravation of trying to trap that frisky minnow against the side of the bucket!

I just had a frightening thought, what is fish went for us with pizza or iPod baited tackle, that'd pretty much decimate the human school James. Raven

Believe it or not Raven, I have to be serious for a moment. You mentioned iPods. They've hit with such popularity! Were is the Walkman???? I still have mine!!!! What will amaze our kids?

Believe it or not Michaelie, I know where you're coming from. Aside from really hating to clean fish, I've noticed that as the minnows get bigger. I have a harder time hooking them. I'm sort of glad I don't get to deepsea fish because I'm not into hooking those 6" herring!
