Video about making bamboo rods

Since we've been dealing with graphite the past couple of days, I thought it would be nice and get back to some of the roots of fishing and feature a couple videos about bamboo fly rods.

When you realize how labor intensive rod making can be, it's no wonder they cost so much!




Here's another video from YouTube illustrating the workmanship that goes into these handmade masterpieces as well as featuring the serenity of fly fishing.


I've always said you're going to be spending $1,000 for a good fly rod. I think I'll have to amend my statement!

Ya got that right, Louie. When I retire, ZI can't go fishing because I do that now but, I can change to fly fishing.
