Weekend tip--look for birds
March 15th 2008 00:53
In this day and age, technology has even crept into fishing. More than one angler uses a fish finder or even an underwater camera.
Before these miracles of science came into being, you could always rely on Mother Nature to tell you where to fish.
If you're at the shore or on a big lake or river, all you have to do is look for diving birds. Chances are, they're going to be feeding on small fish and that can only mean that bigger fish are feeding on them also.

Until next time--watch yourself and watch your line!

If I want to catch a fish I look for a sign saying 'Trout Farm - Landing a Fish is Guaranteed!'

Or, as it says on the Storm Lure packaging--Always think like a fish--no matter how weird it gets! Even if their lures were no good, I'd have to at least give them a nod for having a slogan like that!
