Weekend tip--reverse clinch knot

Here's a clip with Alton Jones showing how to tie the reverse clinch knot.

I'll admit that this is a new one on me and I've never tried it. However, I tested it with Berkley Fireline and Vanish Transition in addition to whatever kind of mono filament I have. I'm not a scientist but, after putting some stress on the knot with a fish scale I have, the line broke before the knot so, I give it a thumbs up *L*

I'll be using it a LOT this season so, I think my days with the Palomar are over!

So that's the name of that knot. I've used it for years without knowing its name, I guess I never really wanted to get that personal with it James. Raven
