Which line is which?

Here's another little trick that keeps me on an even keel and saves a couple bucks.
<<<<<>>>>>
When you have more than one rod and respool your reels in the off season, it may be hard to remember which is which when it comes time to get back on the water.
Some line, such as braids, are are easily identified with no help but it can be pretty hard to tell the difference between 12lb. and 8lb. mono!
If you think about it very much you'll just say, "Label your reels."
Simple enough. BUT here's a way to do it and save a little money.

Instead of going out and buying labels or spending the time to cut up little pieces of tape to make labels, use those rectangular stickers at the end of fresh spools of line and record what kind of line it is and then place the sticker on your reel.
As far as the labeling, I like to keep it real simple and record just the manufacturer and line weight.
You can cut the stickers in half and still have something to keep any remaining line from getting tangled.

Remember to take the hooks outta yer pocket before ya sit down!
